Located by the children’s play area, the heated swimming pool is a must visit during your stay. For your safety there are always members of staff on duty at the poolside.
Why not take advantage of the poolside sunbeds and soak up the Devon sunshine and cool off with a dip in the outside pool.
There is a splash flume for the youngsters.
The pool is ideal for all age groups.
Please note that any of the above may be subject to change and availability.
Pool Rules
- All children under 5 must be accompanied and supervised in the water by a competent adult (16 years +) on a 1 to 1 basis. I.E 2 children = 2 competent adults.
- Any child between 5 and 8 years must be accompanied in the water by a competent adult (16 years +) on a 1 to 2 basis.
- Children under 16 (but above 8) should prove their swimming ability to the pool attendant and should be accompanied by a adult at the pool side.
- The maximum ratio is 2 children to 1 adult – Example: bearing in mind the requirements above, 1 adult cannot enter with a child of 4 yrs and another of 6 yrs.
- Non swimmers who enter the water or those using buoyancy aids must be accompanied by a competent adult (16 years +).
- Please remove outdoor footwear before entering the poolside area.
- Do not enter the water with non waterproof sun creams or other lotions.
- Babies should wear swimming nappies.
- soft ball games, certain inflatables and masks will only be allowed at the discretion of the Pool Attendant.
- Flippers are not allowed
- strictly no diving
- Pushing, running, jumping in, unsafe or rowdy behaviour will not be accepted by the Pool Attendant.
- Depth markings are in place. Please check them and do not go out of your depth.
- Do not bring glass or crockery into the pool area.
- No photography in the pool area unless it is with the agreement of the pool attendant.
- Do not enter the pool area when under the influence of any intoxicating substance or after a heavy meal.
- Do not hesitate to use poolside safety equipment if required

- Strictly No Smoking is allowed on the poolside area.
Slide / Plume Rules
- A height restriction of 100 cms (3ft 3 inches) applies
- No Inflatables, Buoyancy aides or mats are allowed on the slide.
- Only normal swimwear – no zippers or metal ornamentation.
- Riders must be in good health.
- Use of the slide by more than one person is prohibited.
- Keep hands inside the slide, Keep seated.
- Feet first down the slide.
- Do not attempt to stop on the slide.
- Leave the plunge area immediately.
